 The first recorded meeting
for the purpose of organizing the McRoberts S.
D. was held on Sept. 27, 1909.The site chosen on
which to erect the schoolhouse was the S. E.
Corner of NW 10-16-28. The land belonged to
Fredrick Saul. The original order for desks was
to accommodate 24 pupils but immediately 4 more

The school was closed in 1947 and within a year or so was torn down. |
