The Caron Rural Municipality is located west of the city of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, close to the Trans Canada Highway and on the Canadian Pacific Railway's main line.

 

Its neighbours to the north are the Eyebrow and Marquis RMs and to the south Rogers, Hillsborough and Baildon. To the east lies the Moose Jaw R.M. and on the west lies the Wheatlands R. M.

The Municipality is approximately 9 sections in length from north to south and 6 and 1/4 sections wide from east to west. It spans townships 16 to 18 and ranges 28 to 30 west of the Second Meridian.
