NOTE: The Moose Jaw Times published an article on November 10, 2014 entitled, "A Final Remembrance For Caron Legion" marking the fact that the 2014 Remembrance Day ceremony would be held in Mortlach rather than Caron. In the article Retired Royal Canadian Air Force veteran Al Kennerley explained that, "...The Caron Legion Remembrance Day service will occur in Mortlach. 'We'll go to the RAF cemetary (after the service)", says Kennerley, "and put poppies on the graves of the RAF boys that lost their lives. Then we go to the Legion and have supper and happy hour.' This will be the last event in the Caron Legion Hall. In future the Legion members would be joining the Moose Jaw branch.
