This triangular block of buildings in Knott Mill bounded by Little Peter Street, Gilbert Street  (formerly Greaves Street), and Commercial Street includes residential and commercial properties in 2011.  At the end of the 19th Century it was home to veterinary surgeons with their surgery in the building above.  Much of the rest of the block was occupied by stables, a smithy, two dwellings and a small warehouse.
