Named after the world famous conductor Sir John Barbirolli, Barbirolli Square has the Bridgewater Hall on one side and two office buildings, numbers 100 and 101, on the other.  These buildings, clad in glass and pale grey granite, were designed by the RHWL Partnership, the same architectural practice that created the Bridgewater Hall.
