36 Princess Street is a former packing warehouse by Clegg and Knowles in 1880.  At some point there was clearly a bank on the corner with Portland Street. 

Today it is home to the Yang Sing Hotel which has as its motto the Chinese proverb, "Make happy those who are near and those who are far will come."
