18 - 24 Princess Street is the former Dugdale's warehouse built by Clegg and Knowles in 1877 - 8.  It features an open archaded parapet and tall chimneys.  Today it is home to the Arora Hotel and part of a chain of International Hotels.  The Arora is part owned by Sir Cliff Richard and boasts a number of Cliff Richard "themed rooms".  A Times review of the hotel from 2004 said this of the Arora, "The hotel opened in June to great local acclaim — the slick Obsidian restaurant and bar immediately attracting the local A-list of Manchester United and Coronation Street stars, and earning rave reviews for its modern menu."
