Lancashire House sits
on the corner of Peter Street and Southmill
Street. It was designed by the architectural
practice of Walters Barker and Ellis and built in 1868.
In the 19th Century
this former shipping warehouse had the Gaiety Theatre
as a neighbour. In those days Southmill Street
was South Street.
