The Pinnacle - 73 - 79 King Street

The Pinnacle is a 1960s office block offering what is described as Grade A Office Accommodation.  It is of concrete and steel construction beneath a glazed curtain wall.

At street level it is home to an All-Bar-One restaurant.  It was originally Norwich Union House.   If you click on the link below you can see the building in 1961.

Prior to this building being constructed on this site, Norwich Union occupied an older building at this location.

I have indicated it with a red arrow on the aerial photograph below, taken in 1953.

If you click on the link below it will take you to an image of the old Norwich Union Building taken in 1956.  It is the building on the left of the image with a clock over the street.

The link below will take you to another image taken in 1959 when it was being demolished.
