Colwyn Chambers sits on the corner of York and Mosley Streets.  It began life as the Merchantile Bank designed by J. Gibbons Sankey and was built in 1898.  This Portland Stone building has a grade II listed status and features corner turrets.  In October of 2010 the ground floor at least is home to a Tony & Guy hairdressers.
