The Sorting
House - former Newton Street Post Office Once one of the main
Royal Mail sorting offices in the city centre.
Today the building is a residential complex known as The
Sorting House and it features a Japanese style communal
area. There is still a post office at this end of
the building.
 At the other end of
the building the covered loading area still exists
although there aren't any red vans loading and
unloading postbags.
