This collection of cottages on Tib Street have obviously been recently restored.  They all have the distinctive windows of upper floor loomshops where weavers operated.  This one still has a "taking-in" door with a beam above that would have held a pulley.  Materials could be moved easily into the loomshop and the finished goods could be transferred back down into the street.
