Oldham Street
On the corner of
Oldham Street and Hilton Street, this building was
designed to house drapers, a mourning warehouse, a
manufacturer of shawls and a cabinet maker. It
was designed by Andrews and Butterworth and completed
by 1905. Prior to the construction of this
building the site housed a combination of commercial
properties, private homes and a pub called the Hen and
Chickens.
