Above a pair of 19th Century houses numbers 14 and 12 Lever Street.  Even by 1888 these houses had been converted into commercial premises.  Below are two 18th Century houses, numbers 10 (left) and 8 (right).  Number 8 is one of the finest town houses still surving in the Northern Quarter.
