One of a pair of warehouses on Newton Street by the architects Clegg and Knowles.  This one stands between Back Piccadilly Street and Cavell Street.  The image below shows Cavell Street from Newton Street with an interesting water tank on top of a brick tower in the background.

Below is a sketch map of the building in 1888.  Notice that Cavell Street in those days was called Nightingale Street.  Perhaps one famous nurse became more famous than another.
