Gardens - Long Millgate As part of the Millenium
Quarter redevelopment an open space was created between
Chetham's School of Music and the new Urbis museum. Long
Millgate runs along the side of this space which is
known as the Cathedral Gardens.
 The site has a number
of modern sculptures.
  An interesting
water feature runs through the terraces lawns aand
concludes at the Hunts Bank end in a pool with
fountains.
 The lawns
enclose a large centre piece of paving and the
area tends to be a gathering place for young
people.
