Ducie Bridge Pub

An article in the Manchester Evening News on August 20, 2015 announced that the Ducie Bridge pub was closing on the following Saturday.  It added that the pub had played host to hundreds of musicians since it opened in 1923.  The pub's name comes from a bridge which crosses the River Irk not too far away.  The article went on to explain that, "... It is understood that the pub, owned by the Co-operative group, is part of the ‘long-term NOMA vision’ and could be used for office space within the next few years."

Below are some images of the Ducie Bridge when it was still trading.
