Rochdale
Road & Sudell Street This rather grand but
disheveled building on the corner of Rochdale Road and
Sudell Street in Collyhurst is, in March of 2011,
clearly boarded up and unoccupied. The red-brick
and terracotta structure appears to be truncated.

Road Tenements 1905 Further
investigation showed this to be true. An image
in the collection of the Manchester Central Library
(see link below) shows a row of tenements on
Rochdale with shops at street level near the corner
with Sudell Street.
It can still be seen in the aerial photograph, below dated 1953.   |
