The Advent Site on Every Street is a residential complex built by Artisan Ship Canal Developments Limited, a joint venture between Artisan and Peel Holdings.  It comprises a, "four-sided urban block of four to six storey high buildings set around a courtyard, overlooked by balconies and grassed rooftop gardens. It consists of 143 apartments and maisonettes with 89 under croft car parking space."

In 1851, as the map below shows, the site was occupied by the J. & I. Williams Cotton Mill and rows of terraced housing.
