Cotton Field Wharf, New Islington

Manchester City Council granted planning permission in July 2015 for the redevelopment of the vacant New Union Street Site to provide 302 homes for rent. Active frontages will be introduced along the marina through new commercial units.  The development will include 302 apartments, 128 parking spaces, 2 canal side commercial units, and landscaped boundaries to sympathetically improve the surrounding area.

The CallisonRTKL website explains that, ".... Cotton Field Wharf features 302 one-, two- and three-bedroom rental apartments. The development features landscaped surroundings, communal spaces, interconnecting terraces, 128 parking spaces and two retail outlets along the marina-side public walkway. On-site facilities and amenities, tailored for the local rental market, and a focus on impeccable management and customer service complement a development that tenants will be glad to call home."
