The Cutting Room A new public square has been created next to St. Peter's Church and across from the developing Ice Plant. It reflects the
textile history of Ancoats and is designed to illustrate
that connection. A row of rectangular columns
stand along Hood Street each containing an image of the
state of the old industrial buildings that had stood in
the area.
Scattered around the square are wooden seats in the form of bales of cloth or cotton. Close Window |
