The school on George Leigh Street was built in 1912.  It is no longer a school, probably a victim of the drop in population that accurred in the area when much of the housing was cleared.  Today it is an office building owned by the ASK company.


Of note are the railings which run around the edge of the roof.  So cramped were the schools surroundings when it was built that the playground was on the roof, hence the railings.
