This vacant lot
on the corner of Heyrod and Betley Street was
once the site of the Moulders Arms pub.

This former Tetley's pub is thought to have derived its name from nearby engineering works, although the name "Moulders Arms" is a common pub name around the north of England. Little evidence remains of the pub except for a section of typical Victorian pub tile cladding on Heyrod Street, see below.
