aBode Hotel

Built as an office and showroom for Horrocks Crewdsen and Co the garment manufacturers.  This building was a showplace for their fashions.

The building was designed by Charles Heathcote in 1899 in what Pevsner describes as, "Edwardian Baroque with gable and round angle turret, and with alternatingly blocked columns."

Today it is an aBode Hotel which features a Michael Caines restaurant.
