into the canal basin is a small stone gatehouse and
next to it is the 19th Century office buiklding of the
canal company built of brick with render that has been
painted white.
Piccadilly Basin Gateway  The entrance to the
Piccadilly Basin of the Rochdale Canal is marked
by a
castellated gateway.
