Arthur House -
Chorlton Street
![]() By the architectural
practice of Cruickshank & Seward, who were
responsible for many of the white concrete buildings
in what was UMIST, Arthur house was built at around
the same time in 1963. It comprises 7
self-contained floors designed for letting. An
interesting stick-man sculpture of climbers scaling
the building adds interest to the Chorlton Street
side.
