University of Manchester - Chandos Hall



As with Wright Robinson Hall, the Barnes Wallis Building and the Renold Building, Chandos Hall was designed by W. A. Gibbon of Chruickshank & Seward.  It was built betweem 1962 and 1964.  It is constructed of white concrete smd extends over 15 storeys.  It has a glass enclosed external stairwell on the north side.  It provides mixed sex accommodation in 163 single study bedrooms.
