Orient House

A short distance down Granby Row from Sackville Street, just beyond Granby House, stands Orient House.

Like its neighbour, Granby House, Orient House was designed by the architectural practice of G. H. Goldsmith, Orient House but it was built six years later in 1914.  The Manchester Pevsner Guide describes this former warehouse as, "one of the most extravagant, six storeys with attics, of white faience with a giant Iconic colonnade."

Today Orient House belongs to Opal Estates who offer apartments to students and business people.
