University of Manchester - Maths and Social Sciences Building

Another W. A. Gibbon building for the Cruickshank and Seward architectural practice.  It was completed in 1968 and at 15 storeys it is the highest building on the Northern Campus.  It is seen below in the late 60s - early 70s and before the Mancunian Way Flyover was built over the A6.

In 2010 I believe the building is empty and ready for demolition.
