Staff House is home to the University Conference Office, the Sport, Trading and Residential Services (STARS), and the Student Services Centre Satellite.  It stands on the southern end of the small green space between the Barnes Wallis Building and the Renold Building. 

The Staff House was designed by the architect John Worthington and completed in 1960.  It was extended in 1968.  Pevsner describes it as, "an uncompromising frame of big squares, four storeys with a loggia on two sides and Perretesque piers."
