Renshaw House Church Sitting next door to
the former Plymouth Grove Weslyan Methodist Church,
on Hyde Grove, is the former Renshaw House Methodist
Church. When the Plymouth Grove Church closed
the congregation moved here. However, as the
missing letters on the sign suggest, this church has
also closed.
The site has a chain-link fence around it with trees and shrubs around the margin. If you look carefully you will notice the remnants of a stone wall and gateway.  This is all that
remains of the Plymouth Grove Methodist Church
that once occupied the site of the present
Renshaw House. You can see the church in
the aerial photograph below with the prominent
bell tower at the Plymouth Grove end.
