The image above was taken in February of 2015.  This had been the site of the outpatients' department of the the Royal Eye Hospital (see below). 

This was the place where I got my first pair of glasses in 1958.  On returning to school my teacher told me I looked very wise in them, which I realized later probably meant I looked like an owl!  In March of 2010 this building had been reduced to a pile of rubble.
