Addison Terrace



Addison Terrace occupies a site on the north side of Daisy Bank Road in Victoria Park.  It was built between 1848 and 1850.  Today, Addison Terrace is a listed building.





Number 3 Addison Terrace has had some famous residents. Chales Hallé lived there in 1848 and paid a monthly rent of £12. In 1883, Ford Maddox Brown lived at number 3 and he stayed there for a period of 4 years, during which time he painted the mural in the Great Hall of Manchester Town Hall.



Addison Terrace has been converted into flats.
