Kabel House - 15 Quay Street

When it was built, in 1992,  Kabel House fitted into a gap between the Manchester & Salford Hospital for Skin Diseases and the building known today as the Walkabout Hotel.  It was the creation of the architectural practice of Stephenson Bell.  They say of the building that, "The composition distills essentials from its neighbours with its strong detailing, deep window reveals and expression of bottom middle and top. The materials also pay homage to context."
