Catalan Square & Barca
 Located close to the junction of the
Rochdale and Bridgewater Canals, Catalan Square is
an open plaza outside of the Barca Bar owned
originally by Manchester's Mick Hucknell of
"Simply Red" fame. Barca's website says that

has refurbished the bar and restaurant into

first opened its doors back in 1996 and was
previously owned by Simply Red’s Mick
