Middle Warehouse



A wonderful 19th century warehouse with two arched portals for canal boats to enter the building and a series of arched openings for loading. It was built between 1823 and 1831 but has been restored on more than one occasion. Most recently in the late 1980s when it was converted into luxury flats and offices. As you can see in the right of the photograph above, it is also home to the Lava Café Bar that opened in 2005.
