The Rembrandt Hotel -
Sackville Street The Rembrant sits beside
the Rochdale Canal on the corner of Sackville Street and
Canal Street. The sign indicates that it is a J.
W. Lees house but ironically the brewery's website does
not include it in their list of pubs.
 In 1851, as the map segment below shows, the pub was called The Ogden Arms.  Below is an earlier image of the Rembrandt before its latest paint job.  Close Window |
