The Trafford Press building occupies a site on the north side of Chester Road between the Veno Building to its left and the dramatic Duckworth's Essence Factory to the right.

The name on the façade says more about its past than its present because today, along with the Veno building, it is part of a residential complex.  Photographs from the 1960s show the Veno building when it was occupied by the Co-operative Press and called "Progress House".  Which suggests that, at that time, the two buildings were under joint ownership but they certainly were both in the printing business.
