Manchester
& Salford Savings Bank (Former)
This
building on Chapel Street in Salford was built for
the Manchester & Salford Savings Bank and
according to the plaque on its front it was
completed in 1885. Its facade is made of red
brick with cream terracotta embellishments and a
hipped slate roof. It has an oriel
window and two entrances one to the ground floor
bank and the other to the bank chambers above.
Judging by the plaque on the front of the building,
it was home to a chartered accountant, when I took
these image in March of 2013..
