Manchester
Midi School
![]() In March of 2013, when I took
these images, this building on Chapel Street in
Salford was home to a branch of BetFred on the
ground floor and the Deli-Lama Restaurant. The
Manchester Midi School occupies the rest of the
building. A plaque at the top of the building
indicates that it was built in 1928. The
original function of the building remains a mystery
to me, at this time, but I suspect that it may have
been a large store with display windows at street
level. A coat of arms sits over the central
entrance which may provide a clue to the original
occupants.
