Designed by the architects Broadway Malyan, The Edge is a residential development located next to the River Irwell beside Blackfriar's Bridge.  The buildings comprise 275 apartments over 20 floors, external courtyards and gardens, individual car parking and mixed uses at ground level.  Broadway Malyan are also responsible for the stunning tower at Islington Wharf and the NV buildings in Salford Quays.
