Howells
According

their website Glen Howells Architects, "was
established in 1990 and over the last 19 years
has built a strong reputation for delivering
design excellence and high quality,
award-winning projects." The practice
has, "won a number of design competitions and
have received over 50 national awards."
The practice has offices in London and
Birmingham and they have, "a broad range of
expertise from master planning, feasibility
studies, concept design through to full
architectural construction design,
construction contract management, landscape
and urban design."
The Hub - Five Piccadilly Place, Aytoun Strret and Whitworth Street - 2009 This
residential
block provides a range of studio, 1, 2 and
3-bedroom apartments, with commercial units at
ground floor. "More than half of the
apartments will be sold to owner-occupiers on
a shared equity basis at discounted market
value....The Hub is designed to take full
advantage of its corner site, providing an
elegant sweep of precast concrete columns to
the junction of Whitworth Street and Aytoun
Street."
 Glen
Howells
were also responsible for Urban Splash's Timber Wharf and
Burton Place
in Castlefield. At this point I
don't have photographs of them.
