I only have photo of myself (in Henry Barrie uniform!). My mum could not really afford their prices but she saved up because I preferred the blazer as it was braided!  I didn't know that we were categorised by this. We had to wear uniform when visiting locations, didn't  really think much about it, just abided by the rules - can you imagine 16 year olds these days doing that!

Mr and Mrs Davies, Miss Grier and Miss Turnbull accompanied us on this trip.We were taken to the arena where the bull fight was held, it was empty of course and we messed around with the dummy bull pretending to be toreadors. We later went to the bull fight and covered our eyes when the bull was killed. After the fight we saw the toreador in his splendid outfit, he was treated like a pop star and us girls were rather taken by him in his tight satin outfit. I remember him touching our hands and leaving blood stains from the ear of the bull he was holding. Pretty horrific really! We were also taken to a restaurant where they poured wine down our throats from a great height from what looked like a vinegar bottle - I thought at the time it tasted just like that as well!
