Description
|
The
Photographers' Gallery on Ramilles Street
occupies a brick warehouse building.
The architects modified the old building and
added an extension that houses the large
gallery space. The extension is clad
in a black rendered surface. A deep
cut has been made into the ground floor
façade in order to reveal the café.
The walls around the large café windows are
clad in black polished terrazzo. Other
features include an east facing picture
window and a north facing periscope window.
