The
Lexicon Tower is part of a three building
development on the west side of London's
City Road Basin with the 36-storey tower
being the most prominent element. The
Savills website describes the Lexicon as, "...
a world-class, waterside development of
sleek 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments,"
adding, "... An innovative curtain
walling system clothes
the building, unruffled by edges, seams
or superfluous decoration, and dresses
every apartment in floor-to- ceiling
glass." The architects point
out that, "... The tower features
an innovative curtain wall with
glass channels set within a
ventilated cavity to house
floor-to-ceiling glass. The facade
allows unimpeded views over London,
while enhancing the project’s
sustainability credentials.
Full-width terraces line the upper
levels of the tower, while a
five-story, 405-square-meter
penthouse offers 360-degree views
across London from all levels."
