Description
This odd looking structure is an energy efficient building designed at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia as part of the Smart City Expo in Barcelona.  The Greentooth.net website explains that the building is, "... equipped with photovoltaic panels on the angular, multi-level roofs, which ultimately optimize the energy efficiency space. Additionally, the structure is intentionally made of wood because of its natural properties that are beneficial to the adaptability of design, ease of use and thermal insulation. "

When I visited the building in 2014 it appeared to have been the victim of a fire.
