Description |
|
A pair of bow-fronted apartment
buildings on the City Road, near Old
Street Station. Tower 1 stands
16-storeys high and Tower 2 14-storeys in
all they contain 149 apartments described
by the developers as, "luxury apartments to suit all
lifestyles." ![]() They also describe them as "London's Most Iconic Apartments" and their appearance as, "two elegant, curving towers drawing arcs in space and carving the air into a newly emerging skyline." ![]() However, that view isn't shared by everyone. In 2011 the Bezier was nominated for the Carbuncle Award. Those nominating it felt that, " London's Bezier Apartments is another high-density development built on a busy roundabout. With their curved facades and wide balconies this contemporary development could have worked well in a different context, but in the middle of busy Old Street it feels suffocated and cluttered." |
