footbridge spans the canal in Malmo city
centre. The designer describes it as
having an, " ... asymmetric tube design consisting of a longitudinal spine and a number of stiffening triangular sections.
The open tube structure in combination with the
roadway plank and a simple slender railing (creates) shadows that change during the day
and the seasons,
and that
gives the
bridge a
living character." |
