Description |

Apparently,
this building is also known as Isfjellet or
iceberg because the design was inspired by a
fracturing glacier. It is the third
component in Oslo's Barcode
development. A series of relatively
slender buildings arranged in a row like the
lines in a barcode. Whilst the upper floors of the building provide offices for Deloitte, the lower floors accommodate retail units. The architects explain that, "... The second to eleventh floor are office spaces, and floors 12 to 15 hold a canteen, conference rooms and green roof terraces. The 15 storey building has a vertical split that rotates through the building and links the opposite sides in a sculptural internal structure." |
