Description
33 Margaret Street is an office building commissioned by the Great Portland Estate.  It was completed in 2012 and is now the headquarters of Savills, who took up a 20 year lease on 64,142 sq ft of the total of 102,291 sq ft available.  Great Portland Estates say about 33 Margaret Street that, "... The new building is clad in Portland Stone to match the partially retained Regent Street façade."

The architects describe it as, "... confidently modern in character and highly sustainable in operation, yet also balances those attributes with the responsibility to create a complimentary neighbour to the listed buildings of Regent Street and enhance the wider conservation area. ... By working closely with Westminster City Council the project team has been able to completely redevelop and revitalise the whole site. This has involved the demolition of a low quality building on Margaret Street and the transformation of two neglected early 20th century grade II listed facades on Regent Street."
